Best covers ever

I was just listening to the CBC, not sure which show, but they were talking about the best cover songs ever, and their top choice was Youssou N'dour covering Bob Dylan's "Chimes of Freedom." Just thought I'd share, since it really is awesome, awesome, awesome.

Nice. I caught a piece on Total Guitar Magazine's list of best and worst covers of all time on As It Happens early last week. The worst? Celine Dion's rendition of You Shook Me All Night Long. *shudder*

Good Gawd. It must have been awful. When I think of Celine, I think of that song of hers that became Air Canada's theme song, and the part when she's singing "And we're soooooooaring", and it sounds like she's singing, "And we're sooooooorry". Why didn't someone catch that before they went public?
