Knitty Summer Edition is on-line!
OK, this is a post for knitters only - I just checked the Knitty website, and the summer edition is on-line. Why do I find this so exciting? Probably because Knitty has some of the funkiest yet accessible patterns available FOR FREE. I'm all about free stuff - I think they're going to start putting the samples away when I show up at the organic market, but I digress. So far, I've made maybe 3 things off Knitty - the Fetching Wristwarmers, the Baby Blu Jeans, and the Baby Cargoes, but there are another dozen things I have in the queue of projects I have in my mind. I haven't even looked thru all the patterns yet, but I totally want to make the hemp skirt on the 'cover' for my nieces, very west coast........

Your nieces really want you to make them hemp skirts too. Or should I say, one of your nieces Mummy's wants you to make the hemp skirt. HAHA!
yes mummies, I'm glad you concur. I'll keep my eye out for cool colours. I guess I'd better start knitting them at the same time, and work on them concurrently (get it?) so that they both get them at the same time! And I'll knit them in at least a size too big, given the amount of time I have to knit, I"d hate for them to be too small......
